A Message from Mr. Ebeling,
Sailor Families,
Spring is here (“officially”) and spring break is next week! When we get back it is already going to be APRIL! More than just plants sprout in the spring...these kids have been growing and changing dramatically as the year progresses.
Interest Fair
WOW! Again, the Bay Harbor students really stepped up to show and present their passions and are really proud of their work. I am so impressed and learned a tremendous amount from the kids. Thank you for supporting your child in taking this extra responsibility on. Tonight, from 6pm-7pm will be the interest fair celebration. Even if you didn’t do a project, it is still a cool thing to come and check out. I want to send a BIG THANK YOU to Kim DeTennis for all of the hard work in coordinating such an impactful event.
School Safety and Security Updates:
Below you will find some enhancements to the school security in all district buildings. Official communication will be sent from the district updating you, but I just wanted to highlight some things:
Whatever you are doing next week, I wish you all a very safe and relaxing spring break and look forward to seeing you all in April!
Tony Ebeling, Principal

Below you will find some enhancements to the school security in all district buildings. Official communication will be sent from the district updating you, but I just wanted to highlight some things:
- ALL visitors to BH need to use the front doors and be buzzed in through the office.
- Visitors must show a government issued photo id, sign-in on our computer and visibly wear a visitor badge
- At BH, we pride ourselves on knowing our families, but with so many students it gets difficult to remember every family member. Many times we will not need to see your ID because we already know you...BUT be prepared to show one.

- Visitors will be escorted (or observed) to their designated location
- Upon departure, visitors must sign-out in the office
Whatever you are doing next week, I wish you all a very safe and relaxing spring break and look forward to seeing you all in April!

3rd Grade Ellis Island Simulation Took Place Last Week! Check out the photos above and read about it below...
Third Grade ended their study about immigration with a trip to New York-Ellis Island circa 1920. After research, students took on the roles of various European Immigrant families. They simulated the process of these early Immigrants journey to and through Ellis Island. Students participated in various tests and examinations to see if they could enter America. Thank you to all the volunteers that made this experience possible! ![]() Attention Parents and Guardians of 4th graders:
