A Message from Mr. Ebeling,
Good Afternoon, Sailor Families!
I just finished up giving a tour to a new family that is moving into the area. Choosing the right school is a big part of why people move where they do. I absolutely love giving tours and showing off our school and the learning that is taking place. As I moved about the building with this family, I was filled with appreciation and excitement around what is taking place here at Bay Harbor. I always say that there are so many things outside of here we can’t control, but what we can control is the environment we create at Bay Harbor. Kudos to our crew for that!!
The Golden Apple Award banquet is tonight at the Radisson. I will be attending on behalf of our Teacher Team of Distinction: 3rd grade team- Mr. Brandt, Mrs. Pieschek, Mrs. Sperber and our GT teacher, Mrs. Nicole Smith (and her team), who won the Golden Apple. Congratulations to these awesome educators! They are not only representing themselves tonight, they are representing ALL of the fantastic things happening here.
These next few months will be busy for all. Continue to stay connected with the teacher and school and help to show that their learning is a priority. Ask your child about their goals and hopes and help support them along the way.

The NED SHOW Assembly is coming to Bay Harbor tomorrow, Thursday, April 20th!
The NED Show is a character education program that centers around three important messages that have lifelong relevance: Never Give Up, Encourage Others and Do Your Best. During the assembly, students will learn about the importance of these three life skills while also enjoying storytelling, magic, humor and yo-yo tricks.
This assembly doesn't cost the school anything, however, students will have the opportunity to purchase a NED yo yo to continue the fun and remember the NED message. All proceeds from sales go back to the NED SHOW.
Yo Yo order forms will be going home with students on Thursday or Friday if they request one from their teacher.
