Fall Fest!
Saturday, October 24th 11:00-3:00
We Need Volunteers!
The links that are included in this newsletter are your connection to EVERY Volunteer opportunity for Fall Fest!! (paper packets will not be sent home this year). We need you to sign up to volunteer ASAP to alleviate the tremendous stress our committee (that is also staffed with volunteers), is feeling due to lack of sign ups so far. (Thank you to those who have already signed up!! Encourage your friends to do the same! Even offer to show them how! Most volunteer assignments are for just one hour. Please, CLICK THIS LINK today!!! This is our biggest event of the year!
Prizes will be given this year instead of tickets AND we will be giving out bags for the kids to be able to carry and keep track of all of their newly won treasures!! The Kids Raffle tickets will be the same as the tickets that the kids use for games.
Registration for Kids Raffle!! Any student/child who is going to try to win any of the super amazing prizes in the Kids Raffle, (think lunch with a teacher, Mr. Roy for a day, Ride to school in a Fire truck, just to name a few) will need to register. We will need to have their name and teacher's name or phone number (if not a student at Bay Harbor) and in return we will assign your child a number. The number is what they will then put on the back of each of their tickets for the raffle. We hope this will help keep all the writing on the back of tickets to a minimum and also help us locate our winners!

Meet Our New 4th Grade Teacher- Julie Brandt
Hi, my name is Julie Brandt and I am a 4th grade teacher here at Bay Harbor. Although I am new to Bay Harbor this year I am not new to the district. I have spent the past 27 years teaching in the Howard-Suamico School District. For myself and my family this is home. It’s a great feeling when you love what you do every day! I am really enjoying being part of the Bay Harbor Ohana, as we say in my classroom. Staff, Parent, and most importantly students have all made me feel very welcome here! In my free time I enjoy traveling, interior decorating, art projects, and photography. I am a creative soul at heart. Art helps bring out the creative side in my students, so I try to incorporate it into my learning environment as much as I can. There is a lot of pride here at Bay Harbor and amazing things happen every day! I am really happy to be part of the Sailor team! Parent/Teacher Conferences Coming up soon!

As always THANK YOU for your support!!! PTO Hospitality Team - Volunteers needed!
The Hospitality Team is a group of volunteers who provide meals and snacks in support of our Teachers and Staff at different times throughout the year. Being a part of the Team means you help out when you can with what you can. An email goes out with a sign up attached and you choose whether you are able to help with any of the items needed for the day they are needed. The first opportunity we have to serve our Teachers and Staff is dinner for the Parent Teacher Conferences and we need Volunteers! You can cook, or purchase food, plates, napkins, plasticware, drinks, cups, ice...Thank you to those of you who have already sent in your volunteer forms that were sent home a couple of weeks ago. If you have not gotten a chance to send yours in, and would like to be a part of the Hospitality Team or if you have questions before deciding to sign up, please email Lesli Frank: [email protected] It is such a great way to make our Teachers feel the love!! Save the Date! 4th Annual PTO Holiday Shoppe Coming Soon! Saturday, November 7th - 10:00-1:00
An event for students at Bay Harbor to select gifts for their loved ones with the help of a personal shopper. The PTO would like to invite all Bay Harbor students and siblings to come holiday shopping right in our very own school gymnasium! The Holiday Shoppe will be open on Saturday, November 7 from 10am-1pm. "Money envelopes" will be sent home soon which will allow parents to list all the people the children can shop for and set a "budget" of what they can spend on that person. The cost of the items range from $.25 to $10.00 and there are gifts for all family members, even your pets! (These envelopes should be brought with you to this event with cash enclosed). You can even come hungry for breakfast, and visit our bake shop while your children shop, where we will have donuts and muffins for sale. We hope you can join us for a fun morning of shopping, eating and getting in the holiday spirit! NOTE: We are in need of help with set up for this event after school on Friday, October 6th. We are also in need of donations for breakfast bakery items for the café. If you can help in any way, please contact Sandi Beaver (text or call) 920-217-8296 or [email protected]. Thank you in advance! ................................................
