A Message from the Principal
Blizzard Game
Thank you for such an overwhelming amount of support on Saturday night at the Green Bay Blizzard game. With ticket sales and my Dash for Cash money we will have made approximately $1,400 (still waiting for the exact amount) for our school which in turn will go right back to the kids with a focus on recess equipment (inclusive playground, ga-ga pit).
Referendum Staffing
I just wanted to update you that because of the “YES” vote for our referendum, in the area of class size reduction, I was able to hire three more teachers so that every grade level will be at four sections and class sizes will instantly be lowered. I am excited at the level of talented teachers that I interviewed and were able to hire! Our crew definitely got stronger!
May
May becomes an extremely busy month for families and our school as a whole! Our push at BH is to keep moving full speed until the last day of school! Though there will be schedule changes and things popping up to make the student’s learning experience as enjoyable and memorable as possible, we are going to try our best to keep learning and relationships the priority. Thanks for all you do to keep a strong partnership with the school while still living the busy parent life. I definitely see if from both sides:)

Bay Harbor End of Year Box Tops Contest!
Deadline: This Friday, May 18th Final Box Tops Contest: Last week a collection sheet for our final Box Tops Contest was sent home with students. We have collected $1075 dollars so far this year of our $2000 goal. Let’s finish the year by getting close to that goal. The classroom that collects the most Box Tops will win an ice cream treat party for their classroom. It’s easy to do; just clip Box Tops from participating products and glue or tape 10 unexpired Box Tops onto the collection sheet to participate in the contest. Contest deadline is This Friday May 18, 2018. Please make sure sheets have the teacher’s name and grade level filled out so the correct classroom gets credit. Note: Box Tops that are expired or missing the product code will not count. Bonus Box Tops should be sent in separately and not attached to the collection sheets. Have more than 10 Box Tops or want to get started right away? Print off this sheet - click here or go to the Box Tops website by clicking here for lots of other fun collection sheets that can be used all year long.
