A Message from Mr. Ebeling,
Warm weather was here….and quickly blew away! It was exciting to see the students buzzing with excitement that they could FINALLY wear shorts and flip flops again. It’s only April, it will be back again soon! Below you will find a couple of bits of information that I would like to share.
Report Cards
We are in the final quarter of the year! Be sure to take a moment to review the 3rd Quarter report cards. You will see Qrt 1, Qrt 2 and Qrt 3 scores. Remember, learning is a progression and the goal is to know the material by the end of the year! As we move into next year, I am going to take many opportunities to talk to you about “learning”. I am passionate about student learning and work continuously to ensure that we are creating the right environment to maximize individual potential.
Class Placement Update
It is that time of year when parents start to think about “next year” and who the next teacher will be. I wanted to update you all on the class list process that we will again use at Bay Harbor. Our ultimate goal is to put each student in his or her best learning/emotional atmosphere. A LOT goes into making this happen. As we make up a class list, we utilize multiple academic data points, student learning styles, peer relationships, leadership abilities, current teacher feedback and gender equity. Each year we receive “teacher” requests from parents. I want you to know up front that we cannot honor these requests due to the multitude of factors stated above. My staff work very hard to put your children in the best situations possible. In the event you want to provide specific feedback regarding your child’s strengths, weaknesses or any other beneficial information, please do so. You may send me an email directly <[email protected]>, or use the forms found in the office.
Green Bay Blizzard Bay Harbor Night
You just received information for the May 13th Green Bay Blizzard game where Bay Harbor students will be able to participate in a fan tunnel before the game! Each student receives a free ticket to the game. $3 of any purchased ticket will go right back to Bay Harbor! CLICK HERE for the order form- Due May 1st. *Fun Fact-I got my start in Green Bay playing with the Blizzard in 2003 and 2004! Let’s see how many people we can get out to support the school and the Blizzard!

Field Day Coming Soon - Friday, June 3rd
Volunteers Needed!
Calling all Bay Harbor Families, WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are looking for volunteers to help us with the Field Day activities for 1-2 hours on Friday, June 3rd. We are looking for people to assist with lunch, games, and distribute the end of the day treat between 10:45 AM and 2:30 PM.
If you are not familiar with Field Day, it is an afternoon long event, running from lunch time until the end of the day. The students have a picnic lunch, head over to Idlewild Park for various games and finish the day off with a cool treat. This is a SUPER FUN end-of-the-school year event for ALL students, but it takes many volunteers to make this day a success!
If you are interested (and even if you can’t commit to an entire hour), please fill out the Field Volunteer Form that will be in the Take Home Envelope TODAY and return it to the school office by Friday, May 13th. If you do not receive the form and are interested in volunteering, please contact Rich Glen at [email protected]. You can also click here to print the form.
