A Message from Mr. Ebeling,
End of the 1st Quarter Report Card
I am as surprised as you are! This Friday, at 6:00 PM, I will send a message to you with links to view the report card. As a reminder, you will see the standards that were assessed and reported on for the 1st Quarter. Standards are written with the idea that by the end of the year, the student will meet a level 3 expectation which will show that the student has a solid understanding of the concept.
Seesaw
I hope you have found Seesaw to be a very engaging and informative addition. I personally feel like I know way more about our students from this portfolio, than what a report card could ever show. I am sure your child also enjoys seeing you interact with their learning in real time. Good things continue to happen at Bay Harbor and we are excited to share it with you.
Fall Fest
Awesome! The snow falling made our Snow Fest, I mean Fall Fest, even more enjoyable (and slipperier). Through donations towards the classroom baskets, your time, or attendance-THANK YOU for your help in making this a huge success. A special thanks to Leslie Frank and her team for organizing such a wonderful, family event.
Next week is a short week with an 11:45 release time on Wednesday and no school Thursday and Friday. We have a lot to be thankful for at Bay Harbor...enjoy your time together! Thank you for your continued partnership!

Fall Fest
Way to go Bay Harbor Families!! Fall Fest is meant to be a community builder as well as a fundraiser for our school and by the outcome of last weekend, it was a success. Even with attendance down a little bit, we still exceeded our goal of making $10,000.00 this year! Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered and attended Fall Fest. Thank you to our teachers and Staff who helped in countless ways. I started listing them all and realized that this would get too long and no one would finish reading it. Fall Fest is a huge event for our school with a lot of moving parts. We have an amazing committee of 11 people who have dedicated a lot of time and energy to the success of Fall Fest. I would really love to see that grow to 20 for next year. We will had many committee members leave last year when their kids moved to 5th grade. Some were replaced and some were not. Please consider offering your time to help plan and organize this event next year. I would love to have conversations and answer questions and find a good fit for whatever you have time to help out with next year, call me 920-680-6889 and we can chat. I would love to see this event be owned by more of our Community. Thank you all again for your part in making Fall Fest successful! We have an amazing and generous community and I'm thankful to be a part of it! Lesli Frank |

Volunteers Needed for our School Store!
Our Student Leadership Council will again be opening up the School Store once a month starting in December. We are not able to run a successful store without some help from our amazing adult volunteers. Students are able to "shop" at the school store for a few minutes after they finish lunch to purchase items ranging from .25 cents to $1.00 such as pencils, erasers, highlighters, small toys, bouncy balls and other small items. The students really get excited about the store and you can be apart of it by helping out. The proceeds from sales go to the Student Leadership Council. Please click here for more information and a form to complete and return if you can help. Please complete and return the form by Wednesday, November 29th. Thank you in advance.
