A message from Mr. Ebeling,
Hello Sailor Families,
Spring is finally here and to ease the excitement of March Madness (not just basketball), there is Spring Break! This is a very important time of year because it gives our building a chance to become GERM free again (not the real reason)! Really, it’s an opportunity to reflect on the hard work that has occurred thus far and to also take a moment to rest and rejuvenate. When we come back it is going to be April and the push is on to the end of the year. Speaking of summer, the information to sign up for summer school will be coming out soon as well. There are always great class offerings for students to help keep their dendrites firing and to also ward off the dreaded “summer slide”. Be on the lookout for this information.
Yesterday, I sent out a reminder about the final days of our Reading Rewards program. Thank you for your participation! If you have not yet returned your postcards booklet, please try to do so! Our school highly benefits from the participation.
There are many wonderful things happening at BH. Thank you for continuing to follow our newsletter as that is our main source of information in addition to classroom newsletters.
Have a wonderful week!

As was written in last weeks newsletter, and in true "all hands on deck fashion", Bay Harbor collected over 1200 food items! 4th grade visited the pantry last week Monday to pack and help get the food bags ready for pick up. To celebrate the generous efforts of our students and families, Bay Harbor had an assembly last Friday where some very talented Bay Port students, under the direction of Mr. Pufall, came to share their musical talents with us! After 42 years, Campbell’s Labels for Education is discontinuing the program at the end of this school year. Some of you may have noticed already that some of the products (Pepperidge Farm Goldfish & Spaghettios for instance) no longer have the Labels for Education logo around the UPCs. You can continue to send in labels until the end of the school year. We have used this program to purchase playground balls and sidewalk chalk for recess so I will be placing our final order in June. More information can be found here as well as a current list of participating products. www.labelsforeducation.com Thank you, Dawn Brandt Reminder to parents/guardians of 4th graders - Class Trip to Madison - June 2nd....
