Next Week - April 30th - May 4th Dear Families, From April 30th-May 4th, students at Bay Harbor will have the opportunity to be part of a week long artist in residency with Randy Peterson! Randy is a local singer, songwriter, and storyteller who has been working with children and creating children’s music for over 30 years. During the week long residency, students will meet in groups three times with Randy to write/revise lyrics, and record their own original songs. The week culminates in an assembly where students perform their songs for each other. I am so excited for students to have this experience! I would like to thank the PTO and Student Council for funding this week long artist in residence program and showing their support for the arts in our school. If you have any other questions about the upcoming artist in residency, please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected].
