All Volunteers at Bay Harbor are invited to come through our "Drive Thru" which will be open from 7:00 until 8:35 to serve you coffee or juice and a donut, all because....
We "DONUT" know what we would do without you!"
We really appreciate the support that all of our volunteers give to Bay Harbor! If you have volunteered in any way (chaperone, PTO event, mentor, etc), please make plans to come through our drive thru on your way to work or when you drop off your kids at school.

SchoolKidz offers pre-packaged, school supply kits filled with the exact school supplies requested by your child’s teacher in a personalized box and are delivered to school in mid-August. These kits are a cost effective and convenient way of purchasing your back-to-school supplies. Skip the lines this summer and order your supplies with SchoolKidz! Every year we get feedback from parents who have purchased these in the past wanting to make sure they are available again. Order forms were sent home last week. You can order on line, too!

Lots and lots of volunteers are needed to man all of the games that students will enjoy in the afternoon over at Idlewild Park. This is a special day to celebrate the end of another school year. Your child would love to have you be apart of it!

****Forms were sent home a couple of weeks ago - please complete and return to school so that your child can attend!
All students will have the opportunity to go to SAGA Gymnastics on one of these two days for our end -of the school year incentive, thanks to our Student Leadership Council. The schedule for each classroom is printed on the back of the permission slip. Students should dress comfortably on the day of their trip. Please make sure to complete these forms for each of your child(ren) and send back to school now!

The "Tailgate Pizza" is now available at Figaro's Pizza! Don't forget to stop in and "savor the flavor" of this pizza over the summer!
It’s made with Nacho Cheese, brats, BBQ pulled pork, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, and a swirl of Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce on top.
Out of the 4 original pizzas that made it to the community tasting, this is the one that was voted the winner! The Tailgate Pizza will be available through the summer and a portion of the proceeds are returned to Bay Harbor School! Go ahead and enjoy one, it’s a win-win! Thank you!

Due to weather forecast Friday, the Sweet Safari event scheduled for Friday, May 11 at the NEW Zoo is postponed until June 8.
Sweet Safari for Education has been rescheduled for June 8, 5-8 pm. The NEW Zoo and the Howard-Suamico Education Foundation are excited to host the third annual Sweet Safari for Education – A Wild Artistic Adventure. The Sweet Safari will feature over 150 pieces of student artwork and sweet treats from local vendors for kids and adults of all ages. Face painting, animal encounters, a bounce house, free carousel rides, and an inflatable obstacle course are also planned. Tickets include admission to the event at the NEW Zoo and Adventure Park and are available for $10 in advance at all Northeast Wisconsin Festival Foods locations & Howard or $12 at the door. Extra Harmanns' Memory Books Available for Purchase
We have some extra Memory Books for sale at a cost of $14.00. These will be sold on a first come, first served basis. If you did not originally order a Memory Book, but would like to now, please give the office a call at 662-8800. You will need to send in a check, made payable to HARMANN'S, to reserve your memory book. All Memory books will be given out to students on the last day of school so that they can get signatures of fellow classmates, teachers and friends that day. (note: those students who did not purchase a Memory Book from Harmann's will receive a "generic Memory booklet" to use to get signatures). Volunteers Needed!

On April 30-May 4 our students worked and performed with musician Randy Peterson. Together the students and Mr. Peterson composed and performed nine songs. These songs were recorded and have been put together onto a CD. Library Schedule: May 21-25— Final Days for Student Returns (5/25 last day) June 2—Letters sent home for missing books May 16-June 8– Inventory taking place Lost and Found: Please make sure to check out the Lost and Found items if you are missing anything. Once the school year is finished, all items will be donated. Thank you! Medications at School: If your child has medication(s) at school, please be sure to pick them up on the last day of school. Any medications not picked up will be properly disposed of. IMPORTANT NOTE: Every school year, new authorizations must be completed for any medication administered at school. The Bay Harbor Student Directory is now published! The directory is your source for contact information of classmates and friends at Bay Harbor and for networking with other Bay Harbor families. If you would like to order one, you can click here to order and pay on line, or click here to print off the form to return to the office with your payment of $2.00 (make checks payable to Bay Harbor). PLANNED ABSENCE FORM All absences from school, not related to an illness, injury or family emergency, must be requested in writing at least 48 hours in advance in order for the absence to be excused (family vacation for example). Please complete the Advance Absence Notice for this purpose and return to school. This form will be routed to the student’s teachers for approval signatures. From your School Board
The 2017-2018 school year is almost in the books. The Board of Education would like to extend a thank you for another great year. As we reflect back on an outstanding year of accomplishments, we are honored by: -Bay View Middle and Lineville Intermediate schools 2017 National Healthy School Award; -Bay Port One Act Play honored with the State of Wisconsin Award; -Suamico Elementary earning a Significantly Exceeds Expectations on the State Report Card; -Golden Apple Recipient April White, Suamico Elementary, and five Teachers of Distinction honored at the Golden Apple Awards; -Successful passage of the Operational Referendum in the Spring Election; -Bay View Middle and Bay Port High schools awarded the Spirit of Excellence Award for Best in State; -Countless stellar performances by all of our talented theatre and music students and devoted teachers; -Numerous wins on the playing fields by our athletic students and dedicated coaches. It is a very exciting time in the Howard Suamico School District and we wish you a fun-filled summer.
