A message from Mr. Ebeling,
KEEP CALM AND BE THANKFUL!
Today’s message is titled “Thankful”! Often we get so caught up with what is happening in our day to day lives that it is difficult to see beyond that. I try to reflect often on the fact that there is an amazing amount of things to be thankful for no matter the situation you find yourself in! We work hard at Bay Harbor to help instil an intrinsic motivation within our students to do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do! We also try to live out one of our district core values, “Service”. This is the time of year where we really look at ways where we can help other people, especially as we approach the season of giving.
Enjoy your time together as a family! Take time to smile, talk, laugh, and cherish the times!
With gratitude and thankfulness,
Tony Ebeling, Principal

School Store Volunteers Still Needed!!! Please, we need more help!
Once a month starting in December we want to open up the "School Store". At the School Store, students are able to purchase small items that cost between .25 cents to $1.00 such as pencils, erasers, highlighters, small toys, key chains, bouncy balls, etc. after they finish lunch. The students get excited to shop and find something for the amount of money they were allowed to bring in and spend. We need volunteers to help at the store. You can sign up for a particular week(s) or all of them. The time frame to work is from 11:15 -1:00. Please click here for more information and to sign up. Proceeds from sales go to our Student Council to help fund events and activities that benefit all students. Thank you!

Kids can complete the maze for added fun, but is not required. Each student who returns a sheet with 10 Box Tops will receive a small prize. The collection deadline is Wednesday, December 16th. Thank you for your support and for all of you that have already turned in this sheet with box tops attached. Dawn Brandt Golden Apple Award Nominations
We are very lucky to have such wonderful students, families and staff at Bay Harbor. I think we often (myself included) take for granted what it takes to make this all happen. As I mention often, it is truly a PARTNERSHIP to create an optimum learning environment like we have! Today, I walked around with a staff member from St. Norbert College who came on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce to tell the students about “THE GOLDEN APPLE AWARDS”. We thanked the teachers for their devotion to education and care for kids. Students were told how to nominate their teachers (paper copy sent in or emailed) for this prestigious award. I also talked to the students about taking the time to say, “thank you” to people you care for and who are working hard. The 32nd Golden Apple Awards nominations can be filled out starting today until December 10th and can be filled out for any educator your child has contact with. Thank you for your continued partnership, Tony Ebeling, Principal Label Your Child's Outerwear!
Winter will be here soon! Please remember to put your child's name on their snow pants, coats, hats, boots, gloves and mittens. Do you know how many black snow pants there are? This will help us to locate the rightful owner of any lost clothing. Thank you! ................................................
