A Message from Mr. Ebeling,
Sailor Families,
“Don’t count the days, make the days count!”....but no matter how you look at it, the end is here. THE DAY BEFORE THE END OF SCHOOL is a realization that a large group of students that you have watched grow and transform for 5 years are about to leave you and move on to their next journey----Lineville! We will miss our 4th graders for sure, but we know they are ready to do great things and expand their positivity and influence to others. Once a Sailor, always a Sailor!
Thank you, Bay Harbor families, for another wonderful year! In a digital world, it seems like though we are more “connected”, the more disconnected we can be. Please know that your assistance and support continues to be greatly needed and appreciated now more than ever. Research supports that the more involved a family is in their child’s education, the better he/she will do!
I hope that you take time this summer to slow down and enjoy everything around you. For many kids, summer school begins this Monday. There are so many great experiences that summer school provides our HSSD students. Students should continue to keep their thinking skills sharpened! Keep reading, writing, and working on math. Keep being creative...and most importantly PLAY, PLAY, PLAY!!!!!
In early August, you will receive notification of your child’s teacher and information to sign-up for the 30 minute summer literacy reading time with that teacher. Until then, the office is open and please let us know if there is anything you need! Thanks again for a great year!
Have a wonderful and safe summer, everyone!
Mr. Ebeling
