A Message from Mr. Ebeling,
Bay Harbor Families,
Though we are not at the “halfway” point in our school year, I always look at this upcoming holiday break as a good time to reflect on what we have done so far and then to plan for what we will do in the months following. I am very happy with our school community as a whole and I hope you are too. There are wonderful things happening everyday in our building that are worth celebrating.
Overall, there is always something very special about this time of year. There is a spirit of joy and sharing that prevails during the holiday season. One of the best parts about this time of the year is the time we get to spend with our families. Remember a few of these things as you embark on the new year: Remember people, not things, matter most. Respect our children’s individual differences and appreciate each child’s unique capabilities. When we think good thoughts about our children, tell them. Don’t stress over the little things...make sure you are doing things that matter the most. Laugh a lot and Play even more. The kids love to see you be like them!
Try to live this season through the eyes of your child. It’s a magical time!
See you next year!

Inclement weather may necessitate the closing or delay of schools. If schools are closed this will also include the cancellation of extracurricular activities and the events in the community pool unless otherwise announced. Please listen to local radio or television stations for school closings or delays. You will also be notified by phone and email of any closings or delays via the district's automated message system. Label your Child's Outerwear!
With Winter here, please remember to put your child's name on all of their outerwear - snowpants, boots, gloves, hats, etc. Do you know how many pairs of black snowpants are found? If they have a name in them, we can make sure they get to their rightful owner. Note about mittens: Please have your child wear waterproof gloves or mittens. The knitted kind get wet when the kids play in the snow and their hands can get very cold! Community Corner
