Parent/Teacher Conferences
Thursday, February 16th and Tuesday, February 21st (4:00-7:30)
Conference Sign up begins on Monday Morning, February 6th, using the "Teeso"on line system. Mr. Ebeling will be sending out a message on Sunday evening with instructions and a link to sign up.
Make sure to visit the Scholastic Book Fair which will be held in the gym in conjunction with the conferences!

Attention parents/guardians of 4th Graders!
It's Recorder Time! It is that time of year again when fourth graders begin their study of the recorder! Students will need to provide their own recorder that they will be responsible for bringing back and forth from school to home. CLICK HERE to purchase a recorder online through the school for $4.65. Students also have the option of bringing in a recorder from home if it has been APPROVED by their music teacher. No wooden or toy recorders will be accepted. Please purchase by Wednesday, February 15th. If you have any questions or concerns, please e-mail Ms.Belanger at [email protected] or call at 662-8810. Attention 4th grade Parents/Guardians!
The annual 4th Grade Class Field trip to Madison is coming up on Friday, June 2nd! If you would like to come along on this field trip and enjoy the day with your child, please make sure that you have an approved background check on file with the district. If you haven't done this yet, please do so now as they will only be processed for a limited amount of time. Click here for instructions on how to get registered and approved to volunteer! Growth and Development Talks Look for a letter that will be mailed out to you tomorrow about the upcoming Growth and Development Talks for 4th graders. These talks will take place on Thursday, March 2nd. Attention parents/guardians of 4th graders.....
Lineville Intermediate School Music Choices In March parents of 4th graders will be asked to choose a 5th grade music class. Course descriptions and registration information will be available on March 8th, and parents and students will learn about band, chorus, and orchestra classes at Lineville. A selection must be made and the registration completed within two weeks. Parents who desire more information at this time are invited to visit the music class websites, which are linked to the Lineville home page: http://linevillehssd.weebly.com Winter Box Tops Contest! -deadline approaching soon!
The classroom that collects the most Box Tops will win a movie and popcorn party. It’s easy to do; just clip Box Tops from participating products and then glue or tape 10 unexpired Box Tops onto the flyer to participate in the contest. Contest deadline is February 15, 2017. Please make sure all flyers have the teacher’s name and grade level filled out so the correct classroom gets credit. Note: Box Tops that are expired or missing the product code will not count. Bonus Box Tops should be sent in separately and not attached to the collection sheets. Have more than 10 Box Tops? Print off this sheet - click here. The Bay Harbor Student Directory is published and is available for you to purchase at a cost of $2.00 each. If you would like to purchase a directory, please click here for the order form. Please complete the order form and send it to the office with your payment of $2.00. All proceeds go to our Student Council. The directories will be sent home with your child. Note: About 65% of students are listed in the directory this year. Label your Child's Outerwear!
With Winter here, please remember to put your child's name on all of their outerwear - snowpants, boots, gloves, hats, etc. Do you know how many pairs of black snowpants are found? If they have a name in them, we can make sure they get to their rightful owner. Note about mittens: Please have your child wear waterproof gloves or mittens. The knitted kind get wet when the kids play in the snow and their hands can get very cold! On Our Way With 4K
Creative Curriculum makes learning fun. Learn more about The Howard & Suamico 4K program which prepares four-year-olds for school success at http://www.hssd.k12.wi.us/4k-program. 4K Registration is available online starting Wednesday, February 1 and walk-in verifications on that day (starting at 8am-4pm) at the Howard - Suamico School District Office at 2706 Lineville Road. Children eligible for 4K must be four years of age on or before September 1, 2017 and you must complete the registration and verification process. Families that live outside of the district attendance area and want their child to attend Howard-Suamico Schools can apply for Open Enrollment. Open Enrollment applications are available from February 6 – April 28, 2017. Inclement weather may necessitate the closing or delay of schools. If schools are closed this will also include the cancellation of extracurricular activities and the events in the community pool unless otherwise announced. Please listen to local radio or television stations for school closings or delays. You will also be notified by phone and email of any closings or delays via the district's automated message system.
