A Message from the Principal,
Sailor Families,
Welcome to October, Sailor Families. Learning is definitely into full swing and I am excited about what I am seeing. This, with NO DOUBT, has been our smoothest start yet and you play a crucial role in that….so THANK YOU. Below you will see a couple key updates from me:
Golden Apple Teacher Nominations
The Golden Apple Awards are meant to improve community awareness around the AWESOME things happening in education around the greater Green Bay area. I would like to say that BH and HSSD in general lead the way in quality teachers and quality education. If you feel like I do, PLEASE Click Here to do an on-line nomination form for an educator at our school. Nominations are due on October 31st.
Parent Teacher Organization
I want to remind everyone that if you are a parent at BH that you are automatically a part of our PTO. We are blessed to have such a supportive parent network at our school which give us the ability to do things for kids and our school that may not be possible otherwise. Part of the support is a $40 donation per family so that we do not have to fund raise. We have a lot of volunteer opportunities as well. Our biggest event is the Fall Fest which will be held on Saturday, November 10th. We have had many recent projects supported financially and I am excited to update you on that in the upcoming weeks. Research continues to validate that when parents are connected to school, the kids do better. Thank you for your ongoing partnership.
Together is Better,
Tony Ebeling, Principal
