The Cold Weather has arrived....Students should dress for the weather!
Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the cold weather. Students will go outside for recess unless the windchill factor is below zero! When it is cold outside students should wear snow boots, snow pants, hats, and warm mittens (even if we do not have any snow on the ground yet). Once the snow is here, please make sure that the mittens/gloves are waterproof so that their hands won't freeze if they get wet. Please make sure to also label your child's outerwear...Do you know how many pair of black snow pants and boots there are around the building?? This will help in finding the rightful owner of any lost items. Thank you!

Greetings Parents/Guardians,
The Elementary Counseling Team has been researching and exploring the importance of Mindfulness for our students. This is complimentary to the school district's Mindfulness strategic plan. Your child’s classroom teacher has been given the option to present "Monday Mindful Moment” exercises in their class. Your child will be coming home with a hard copy this week introducing Mindfulness. Click here for a preview. This is such an important topic, especially at this time of year! As always, please let me know if you have any questions! Becky Wright, School Counselor Holiday Concert Day -
