Field Day is a special "end-of the-school-year" celebration featuring games over at Idlewild park. Lots of volunteers are needed to help with the games.

Other Notes about Field Day:
- Please make sure to pack a water bottle and label it with your child's name
- Please pack a disposable lunch (if you child is not having the school lunch)
- Please apply sunscreen the morning of Field Day as we will be outside all afternoon
- Please dress your children so they are comfortable for lots of activity. Tennis shoe shoes are recommended
- Please dress your child in his/her assigned grade level color if possible -Kinders - red, 1st - orange, 2nd -yellow, 3rd - green, 4th - blue)
"School Kidz" School Supply Kits -
Don't forget - Orders are due by Friday, June 2nd!
Inside each kit you will find all of the supplies that are on the Bay Harbor School Supply list. Parents that have purchased these kits over the past years always look forward to purchasing them again for the ease and convenience. They come in a nice box that you can use to store important papers and art projects that come home with your child during the year.

(starts with lunch outside and then over to Idlewild Park for games!) 8 - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL, End of 4th Qtr, Memory Book Signing 9 - Report Cards finalized and ready to be viewed on line at 6:00 pm. Sailor Pride Ticket Drawing Winners "Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be a Leader" These students Sailor Pride Ticket were picked in the drawing on Tuesday, May 30th, our last drawing of the year. Congratulations and keep up the good work! Bay Harbor's "Spicy Nacho Pizza" will be sold at Figaro's for the entire summer starting on June 1st! Part of the profits of your purchase will come back to Bay Harbor for renovating our library and other learning rooms.
iPad Collection
We will be collecting iPads, charging cords and charging bricks on Monday, June 5 and Tuesday, June 6th. Classroom teachers will be communicating to students collection dates. Please help us make this collection run smoothly by having your child do the following:
Box Tops Contest!
And the Winner is….. Ms. Vanevenhoven’s 2nd grade! They brought in 530 Box Tops to win an ice cream party for their classroom. It was a close contest as they won by only 9 Box Tops! During this contest 4,208 Box Tops were collected which means $420 for our school. Our overall total for the school year was $1,750. Thank you to everyone who sent in Box Tops this year! While we fell short of our goal to raise $2000 this year, please keep collecting and get a head start on next year. Use these sheets over the summer to collect more Box Tops. HAVE MEDICATIONS AT SCHOOL? All Medications must be picked up from school, preferably on the last day of school. No medication can be carried over the summer for next year. Any medication not picked up will be properly disposed of. Also, every school year, new authorization forms must be completed for any medication kept at school. LOST AND FOUND- THE BIN IS OVERFLOWING! Please remember to check out the lost and found areas between now and the last day of school. Any items left over will be donated to the Giving Tree. MOVING? Please notify the school office as soon as possible if your child will be transferring out of Bay Harbor or the district over the summer. CLASS ASSIGNMENTS You will be emailed in early/mid-August the name of your child’s teacher for the 17-18 school year. Please notify the school office if your email has changed to be sure you receive this information. SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS FOR 17-18 Click here OPEN HOUSE Open House will take place on August 30th from 4:30 -6:00 for elementary schools. FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR 2017-2018 Tuesday, September 5th is the first day of school for 17-18. FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT END OF YEAR INFO Click here! MEMORY BOOKS All students who purchased a Memory Book through Harmann's will receive them on the last day of school. There will be a memory book signing time scheduled after the assembly that morning. If a Memory Book was NOT purchased, those students will get a "generic Memory Booklet" that they can use to get signatures of staff and fellow students. 2017-2018 New Student Registration
