We all have INNER MAGIC!
By: Mrs. Wright, School Counselor
All of our Bay Harbor Sailors are getting an amazing opportunity this week from a local author who is also her own illustrator. Her book, “Lunchbox Hero” is about finding your inner magic to work through situations when bullying occurs. The author, Ms. Elizabeth Turunen, is talking with all students about the writing process, how her illustrations are inspired, and most of all, how to believe in yourself. She is working with all of our students this week at NO COST, but would GREATLY APPRECIATE you checking out her book for purchase on Amazon. Please CLICK HERE to be directed to her amazing children’s book with a very powerful message for kids. She would also LOVE for you to “Like” her Facebook page for more information about her book, events, etc. Please find her on Facebook by clicking here. Thank you for your support!

Hello Families! We are trying to make Bay Harbor straw free by Earth Day. Students have an option to not use a straw at lunch with their milk. We have given stickers to encourage students to not take a straw. Here is a fun fact, experts predict that by 2050 there will be more garbage than animals in the ocean. You can join us in our steps to help the Earth by saying, “No thank you to straws!” Remember: Skip a straw, one step at a time. Stay tuned for more information! Emergency School Closing and Delays
