You can also bring in silver coins or dollar bills and put those in the buckets of other grade levels as those count as negative points. The grade level that has the most positive points will earn an ice-cream party! The money earned from Penny Wars will be used to send all students to Saga Gymnastics for an end of the year incentive. Attention all Bay Harbor families!
Join Us at Figaro's Pizza - May 15th - 4:00-7:00 pm
Dear Bay Harbor Families,
Mrs. VanEnkevort and Mrs. Kalishek’s classes are involved in a project based learning experience and have partnered with Figaro’s Pizza. We are doing a pizza project and need your help! We would appreciate if you could, on May 15th, go to Figaro’s Pizza in Suamico from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM to taste test our final four pizza creations. They are the Grand Slam, Spicy Nacho, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Philly Cheese Steak. The winning pizza will be sold the whole summer or longer if it is very popular. The voting is the whole week of May15. Enjoy a slice of pizza, a drink and a cookie for only $5! Part of the profits will come back to Bay Harbor for renovating our library and other learning rooms!
While we were doing this project we learned about the scientific method, plus we researched, and used all the 21st century skills. We also learned about marketing and are using that to market our pizza’s, write persuasive letters, and used many 21st Century skills like collaboration, creativity, and getting involved with the community. We love this project and all we have learned so far!
Sincerely,
Jessica, Ana, and Charlotte

Please help us spread the word by joining our Facebook page “Savor the Sailor Flavor”. Please share this group with anybody from Howard Suamico or nearby friends by the “add members” button. By joining the group, you will find information about the project, updates and reminders throughout the summer!
Thank You for the support from Mrs. Kalishek & Mrs. VanEnkevort’s classes!
