A Message from Mr. Ebeling,
Hello Sailor Families,
It’s almost HeRe!!! The 2015 Bay Harbor Holiday Concert has finally arrived and you can feel t
he electricity in the school. Ms. Belanger in her first year at Bay Harbor is doing a TREMENDOUS job preparing students for their performance. The students are very excited (and nervous) to perform in front of you...but they are ready! To make this event even more special, Ms. Van Epps (Art teacher) will again have a wonderful display of student art hanging around the gym for your viewing pleasure. As you know, this is the BIGGEST event at Bay Harbor, so it WILL BE busy. I wanted to let you know that we do have an overflow parking lot prepared for you. It is found behind our playground on Birch Rd. Additionally, because this is the season of giving, we would like you to bring a canned good (or two) to help support our special partnership with the Giving Tree and fill up their shelves. Bins are located in the front of the school near the entrance to the gym.
I am excited to see you all on Thursday! Hang on and enjoy the ride….This month is going to fly.

We are getting very low on socks and underwear for boys and girls. If you can donate new or gently used items to our health room it would be greatly appreciated. All sizes for kids are needed. Thank you! Box Tops Collection Sheets - Have some fun and help our school! One more week left! Students can still turn in the yellow "maze" sheets with 10 box tops attached through Wednesday, December 16th.
Thank you for your support and for all of you that have already turned in this sheet with box tops attached. Dawn Brandt Label Your Child's Outerwear!
Winter will be here soon! Please remember to put your child's name on their snow pants, coats, hats, boots, gloves and mittens. Do you know how many black snow pants there are? This will help us to locate the rightful owner of any lost clothing. A note about mittens: Please have your child wear waterproof gloves or mittens once it snows. The knitted kind gets wet when the kids play in the snow and then their hands get very cold! Thank you! EMERGENCY CLOSINGS AND DELAYS Inclement weather may necessitate the closing or delay of schools. If schools are closed this will also include the cancellation of extracurricular activities and the events in the community pool unless otherwise announced. Please listen to local radio or television stations for school closings or delays. Such weather may also deter students from going outside during the school day. Please be sure that students are dressed appropriately for the weather. In addition to local radio and television, weather conditions can be checked on-line at www.hssd.k12.wi.us. Click on the Wunderground link for local weather conditions and forecasts. Speak Up 2015 Online Survey
Parent, students and staff are asked to participate in this survey between October 1st and December 18th. Share your ideas about how to leverage technology in schools to promote better learning.
