Because, we "DONUT" know what we would do without You...!
All Bay Harbor Volunteers are invited to "drive through" our DONUT stand this Friday morning, May 27th anytime from 6:45 - 8:45 am. We want to celebrate you and your dedication to our school by serving you that morning. Hot coffee and juice will also be served.
Mark your calendar, and make it date to "drive through" on your way to work that morning or when you drop off your kids at school! If you have volunteered in any way this year, whether you have helped with an event, in the classroom, on a field trip, or in any other capacity, you are welcome! We appreciate you and all you do to support Bay Harbor.
We hope to see you this Friday morning, May 27th!

We collected $1,266.74 from Penny Wars last week! All students at Bay Harbor will be going to SAGA Gymnastics either on June 6th or June 7th because of the generosity of our families. Thank you to all who brought in pennies, silver coins and dollars and fought hard for your grade level to win. And, the winning grade level is (click here)! Mother/Son Kickball Results...

Field Day Reminders...
Dear parents and Guardians, Next week Friday, June 3rd is our annual Field Day Event! Please make a note of the following reminders for Field Day:
Another reminder slip about this will be going home next week Wednesday in the Take Home Envelopes. "School Kidz" School Supply Kits
ONE DAY EXTENSION - ORDERS DUE TOMORROW, THURSDAY, MAY 26TH! "School Kidz" school supply kits contain all of the school supplies requested by our teachers for each grade level. These kits will be delivered to school in mid-August. If you have any questions or need another copy of the order form, please call Sally in the office at 662-8802. Notes From the Library... May 27 - Final Day for Student Return of library books! Also, please note that a letter and fine will be sent out if materials are not returned by 5/27. Any fine not paid by June 8th will be automatically rolled into next year’s Student Fees, and the student will not be able to checkout next fall until the fine has been paid. Thank you!!! LAST CALL FOR THESE LABELS! Their program is ending and we need your labels for one last order of playground balls and sidewalk chalk for recess. Thank you to everyone who has collected these labels the past few years! We appreciate your support! Dawn Brandt, coordinator Important Reminders... Medication at school All medication must be picked up from school, preferably by the last day. Medication cannot be carried over from year to year. Any medication that is not picked up by the end of June will be properly disposed of. Lost and Found Please check out the lost and found bin...it is overflowing!!!!! There are also other lost and found items hanging up near the playground doors. Any items left after the last day of school will be donated. School Supply List for 2016-2017 click here to view Class Assignments You will be emailed in early/mid August the name of your child's teacher. Please notify the school office if your email address has changed to be sure that you receive this information. Open House Tuesday, August 30th from 4:30-6:00 pm You can meet your child's teacher and bring in school supplies. There will also be volunteer sign up sheets in the main hallway for future Family events at Bay Harbor. First Day of School 2016-2017 Thursday, September 1, 2016 End time for School Day Next Year - 3:25 pm The school day end time for Elementary schools in the district will be 3:25 starting with the first day of school on Sept. 1st. This is 5 minutes later than what it is now due to the fact that next years school calendar will include three Teacher Professional Development Days and on those days students will not have school. The start time will remain at 8:45. Changes to Contact Information???
Please contact the school office at 662-8800 when an address, phone number, email address or other contact information changes. It is important to keep student records accurate in case of an emergency situation. It also ensures accurate communication between school and home. Planning a Move?
