GIVING TREE FOOD DRIVE COMING SOON!
Bay Harbor is holding its Giving Tree Food Drive starting October 1st through October 19th. Bins will be set up in the main hallway for non-perishable food item drop off. This year we are asking that when your child brings in donated food items, that boxed and canned items would be brought to school in separate bags. We have learned that when canned items end up on top of boxed items in the bins, damage to the boxed items can occur, and the Giving Tree wants to be able to use all of the food items donated. In addition to the food drive, our 4th graders will be volunteering at the "Feed My Starving Children" Mobile packing event on Tuesday, October 2. Students will also be visiting the Giving Tree Food Pantry the end of the month to volunteer stocking the shelves with the food items Bay Harbor collected. Thank you in advance. Student Directories Coming Soon!
Bay Harbor will soon be publishing its 7th annual Student Directory! The Student Directory is your source for information to contact classmates and friends and for networking with families at Bay Harbor. Once published, they will be available for purchase at a cost of $2.00, with the proceeds going to the Student Council. Look for a link in next weeks newsletter for you to complete with the information you would like published.
