Meet Bay Harbor's new Special Education Teacher - Kristen Possley!
I am so excited to be at Bay Harbor this year. Last year I taught 5th/6th grade Special Education at Lineville Intermediate as a first year teacher. Prior to teaching, I spent over 10 years in the Banking industry before finding my true passion working with children. I have 2 daughters. Monroe is nearly 5 (in 4k), and Harper is 7 (in 2nd grade), who both attend the West De Pere School district. I have been married to my husband Tony for over 10 years. In our free time, we enjoy hiking and being outside as a family, playing games, singing along to the guitar, and weightlifting. I am loving life -) Box Tops Contest!
Our first Box Tops contest is coming up! Watch for your child to come home with a collection sheet NEXT WEEK. The classroom that collects the most Box Tops will win a special treat for their classroom. It’s easy to do; just clip Box Tops from participating products and glue or tape 10 unexpired Box Tops onto the collection sheet to participate in the contest. Contest deadline is October 18, 2017. Please make sure all sheets have the teacher’s name and grade level filled out so the correct classroom gets credit. Note: Box Tops that are expired or missing the product code will not count. Bonus Box Tops should be sent in separately and not attached to the collection sheets. Have more than 10 Box Tops or want to get started right away? - then print off this sheet - click here. Or, go to the Box Tops 4 Education website by clicking here for lots of other fun collection sheets that can be used all year long. This website has a lot of great information about earning extra cash for our school and valuable coupons. Box Tops can also be placed in a baggie/envelope labeled with child's teacher and grade level. Thank You! From Your Board – Important Survey Request
Dear Howard-Suamico Families, We have been given the opportunity to better align the needs of the Howard-Suamico School District with community values as we work to address the District’s financial challenges. To that end, the HSSD Board of Education is asking adult community members to participate in a survey to assist in future referendum planning efforts. Information gained from this survey will be used to evaluate options that meet the community’s needs, are financially responsible, and move the school district forward. Click here to complete the survey This survey will take an estimated 15 minutes to complete and can be accessed until October 1, 2017. A reminder postcard will also be mailed to all Howard and Suamico residents next week. We respect your time and value your participation. Your answers will be anonymous. You can also request a paper copy and a prepaid return envelope at any school office or by calling 920-662-7878. Sincerely, Howard-Suamico School District Board of Education Mark Ashley, President Teresa Ford, Vice President Laura Barnard, Clerk Lisa Botsford, Treasurer/Deputy Clerk Jeff Eilers, Director Rachelle Paulsen, Director Garry Sievert, Director Donations of clothing still needed for our Health Room We want to make sure our Health Room is stocked with extra clothing such as tops, pants, underwear and socks to start the school year.
