The Bay Port Singers were at Bay Harbor on Tuesday, December 22nd. What a wonderful experience it was for staff and students to enjoy! Socks and Underwear needed for our Health Room! We are getting very low on socks and underwear for boys and girls. If you can donate new or gently used items to our health room it would be greatly appreciated. All sizes for kids are needed. Thank you! Box Tops Contest After winter break, we are going to be having a fun Box Tops contest with the winning classroom earning a special incentive. More information to follow in January, but if you would like a head start, click here to print off a copy (or more!) and start collecting! Consider printing off extra copies to give to relatives over winter break so that they can help. Note: Box Tops that are expired or missing the product code will not count. Bonus Box Tops should be sent in separately and not attached to the collection sheets. Thank You! Label Your Child's Outerwear!
Please remember to put your child's name on their snow pants, coats, hats, boots, gloves and mittens. Do you know how many black snow pants there are? This will help us to locate the rightful owner of any lost clothing. A note about mittens: Please have your child wear waterproof gloves or mittens once it snows. The knitted kind gets wet when the kids play in the snow and then their hands get very cold! Thank you! EMERGENCY CLOSINGS AND DELAYS Inclement weather may necessitate the closing or delay of schools. If schools are closed this will also include the cancellation of extracurricular activities and the events in the community pool unless otherwise announced. Please listen to local radio or television stations for school closings or delays. Such weather may also deter students from going outside during the school day. Please be sure that students are dressed appropriately for the weather. In addition to local radio and television, weather conditions can be checked on-line at www.hssd.k12.wi.us. Click on the Wunderground link for local weather conditions and forecasts. ................................................
