SchoolKidz offers pre-packaged, school supply kits filled with the exact school supplies requested by your child’s teacher in a personalized box and are delivered to school in mid-August. These kits are a cost effective and convenient way of purchasing your back-to-school supplies. Skip the lines this summer and order your supplies with SchoolKidz! Every year we get feedback from parents who have purchased these in the past wanting to make sure they are available again. Order forms were sent home with students a few weeks ago.... The "Tailgate Pizza" is now available at Figaro's Pizza! Don't forget to stop in and "savor the flavor" of this pizza over the summer!
It’s made with Nacho Cheese, brats, BBQ pulled pork, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, and a swirl of Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce on top.

Due to weather forecast Friday, the Sweet Safari event scheduled for Friday, May 11 at the NEW Zoo is postponed until June 8.
Sweet Safari for Education has been rescheduled for June 8, 5-8 pm. The NEW Zoo and the Howard-Suamico Education Foundation are excited to host the third annual Sweet Safari for Education – A Wild Artistic Adventure. The Sweet Safari will feature over 150 pieces of student artwork and sweet treats from local vendors for kids and adults of all ages. Face painting, animal encounters, a bounce house, free carousel rides, and an inflatable obstacle course are also planned. Tickets include admission to the event at the NEW Zoo and Adventure Park and are available for $10 in advance at all Northeast Wisconsin Festival Foods locations & Howard or $12 at the door. Extra Harmann's Memory Books Available for Purchase
We have some extra Memory Books for sale at a cost of $14.00. These will be sold on a first come, first served basis. If you did not originally order a Memory Book, but would like to now, please give the office a call at 662-8800. You will need to send in a check, made payable to HARMANN'S, to reserve your memory book. All Memory books will be given out to students on the last day of school so that they can get signatures of fellow classmates, teachers and friends that day. (note: those students who did not purchase a Memory Book from Harmann's will receive a "generic Memory booklet" to use to get signatures). Summer Box Tops Contest Results!
The winning class of the Box Tops Summer Contest is Ms VanEgren’s 3rd grade class! They collected 488 Box Tops. Overall the school collected 3,564 Box Tops. That’s $356.40 for our school! Congratulations to Ms. VanEgren’s class on winning an ice cream party. Thank you to everyone who sent in Box Tops this year and remember to continue to collect Box Tops over the summer. Fun Fact: Did you know that in 10 years Bay Harbor has collected $18,500 from Box Tops? MILK CAPS COLLECTING Prairie Farms Milk Caps (available at Woodmans) We are so close to reaching our first 1,000 cap goal! We are currently at 997 milk caps. Reveal a unique code by peeling off the Prairie Farms sticker on the milk cap and enter it at www.prairiefarms.com/our-caps-your-cause.aspx. When prompted, please choose Bay Harbor Elementary School PTO. For every cap entered, Prairie Farms will donate 5 cents to our school. Once we hit 1,000, Prairie Farms will send our school a check for $50. Milk Moola Milk Caps (available at Kwik Trip) In the last 1 ½ years, we have collected over 2,400 milk caps which means over $120 for our school. The Milk Moola program, also earns us 5¢ for each cap and bag top from eligible products that we turn in. Thank you to everyone who has turned in milk caps, box tops and other labels over the years. It really does add up! Also thank you to Brenda Tebon and Becky Barlement for helping with these collection programs by counting and bagging the box tops and milk caps. Library Schedule: June 2—Letters sent home for missing books May 16-June 8– Inventory taking place Lost and Found: Please make sure to check out the Lost and Found items if you are missing anything. Once the school year is finished, all items will be donated. Thank you! Medications at School: If your child has medication(s) at school, please be sure to pick them up on the last day of school. Any medications not picked up will be properly disposed of. IMPORTANT NOTE: Every school year, new authorizations must be completed for any medication administered at school. We cannot carry any medication or authorization forms over to the next year. Food Service Department End of Year Info... The Bay Harbor Student Directory is now published! The directory is your source for contact information of classmates and friends at Bay Harbor and for networking with other Bay Harbor families. If you would like to order one, you can click here to order and pay on line, or click here to print off the form to return to the office with your payment of $2.00 (make checks payable to Bay Harbor). The directories will be sent home with students. All proceeds from the sale of the directories go to our Student Leadership Council. Thank you! PLANNED ABSENCE FORM All absences from school, not related to an illness, injury or family emergency, must be requested in writing at least 48 hours in advance in order for the absence to be excused (family vacation for example). Please complete the Advance Absence Notice for this purpose and return to school. This form will be routed to the student’s teachers for approval signatures. From your School Board
The 2017-2018 school year is almost in the books. The Board of Education would like to extend a thank you for another great year. As we reflect back on an outstanding year of accomplishments, we are honored by: -Bay View Middle and Lineville Intermediate schools 2017 National Healthy School Award; -Bay Port One Act Play honored with the State of Wisconsin Award; -Suamico Elementary earning a Significantly Exceeds Expectations on the State Report Card; -Golden Apple Recipient April White, Suamico Elementary, and five Teachers of Distinction honored at the Golden Apple Awards; -Successful passage of the Operational Referendum in the Spring Election; -Bay View Middle and Bay Port High schools awarded the Spirit of Excellence Award for Best in State; -Countless stellar performances by all of our talented theatre and music students and devoted teachers; -Numerous wins on the playing fields by our athletic students and dedicated coaches. It is a very exciting time in the Howard Suamico School District and we wish you a fun-filled summer.
