Deadline for Getting Approved to Volunteer Approaching...
Parents and Guardians: Please be aware that March 27th is the deadline for registering to volunteer and having a background check processed for the 2014-15 school year. If you plan on attending an upcoming field trip (4th grade class trip to Madison for example) please be aware that this needs to be completed in order for you to chaperone! Online Registration Begins Tuesday, April 7 at 4:30 pm. Walk-in registration is available at Lineville Intermediate School 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm. Computers will be available. First come, first serve. Assistance will be available with summer school staff. Cash, check, Visa or MasterCard accepted at registration. Classes close when they are full. 4th Grade Boys and Girls Growth and Development Talks
Parents and Guardians: The 4th Grade Growth and Development Talks will take place on Wednesday, March 18th from 2:00 - 2:45. Look for this letter in the Take Home Envelopes today! If you would like to preview the Girls or Boys DVD that will be shown to students, please call the office at 662-8800. You can reserve it for one afternoon or overnight. The dates you can reserve the DVD's are on March 4, 5, 6, 9. or 10th. Lineville Music Class Demonstration for 4th Graders
4th Grade Parents: On Wednesday, March 11th, students in 4th grade will visit Lineville Intermediate School for a Music Class Demonstration. Your child will need to choose a music class for 5th grade. Musicians in Band, Chorus, and Orchestra will perform for the 4th graders and discuss the music class options. After March 11th you will be able to register your class choice using an internet link (to be emailed in mid-March) or with a registration sheet that will be made available in the school office. Music class registrations will be due by March 20th. Band students will be able to choose instruments during a special summer school class called “5th Grade Band Instrument Selection”. More music class information will be available on the March 11th registration form, and is also assessable on music class websites ( http://linevillehssd.weebly.com/). Art Show Students district-wide and their families are celebrating the multiple perspectives and many mediums of art represented by Howard-Suamico School District student artists in grades K-12, March 11, 6:30-7:30 pm in the Bay Port High School Commons. Free admission and all are welcome. An orchestra ensemble comprised of students will enhance the evening while you view the displays. Community Events Calendar
