A Message from Mr. Ebeling,
Sailor Families,
I hope your kids got to enjoy some snow time yesterday. I am happy that they will be able to have some fresh snow on our playground before it quickly melts and again becomes a muddy mess. Wisconsin! As we MARCH on, things are really going to speed up at Bay Harbor. I wanted to take a quick opportunity to update you on a few things:
Conferences and Book Fair
The partnership between home and school is such an important one. There is no doubt, lives outside of school are busier than ever before for families. Please continue to show that school is as much of a priority as other things.
I want to extend a thank you to Bob Watts and Toby Brosteau for running our book fair the last two years. Students are always so excited to be able to shop and get a new book. All proceeds from the book fair go to supporting literacy in the classrooms.
School Referendum
On April 3rd, voters in Howard-Suamico will be asked to vote on an important referendum question: 5 years, 5.85 million per year- No impact to taxes. Remember the three key areas of focus: Class size reduction, Staff compensation, Facility maintenance. To find out more, go to http://www.hssd.k12.wi.us/referendum
*Only 57% of HSSD families voted on the last election. Please get out and vote this year! Early voting begins March 19.
Interest Fair
Thursday night, from 6-7pm, Bay Harbor Sailors will be showing off their passions by presenting during the interest fair. We have our largest number of participants this year!!! Way to go, Sailors….and families:)
Have a great rest of your week!
Tony Ebeling

PTO Father/Daughter Dance - This Friday, March 9th 6:00-8:00
Come join in the fun! If dad's are unavailable, a special person is more than welcome to accompany our Bay Harbor lady.
- There will be a DJ playing tunes, a Bake Sale to enjoy something sweet to eat, a Flower to purchase for the special young lady, and also a Photographer to help make the memory last.
- There will be a $1 charge per person at the door. Please Note: If at all possible, please bring "small bills" to pay at the door (any bill under $20 would be appreciated) as we tend to run out of ones when we have to make change for larger bills.
- Girls can wear a special outfit or dress for this special event.
- We still need donations of baked goods (cupcakes, cookies, bars) water, and juice boxes for this event. Please sign up to donate treats by clicking here! Thank you!
