The 2017 Interest Fair is Coming - Tuesday, March 7th!
All Students in kindergarten through 4th Grade are encouraged to choose an area of interest or hobby that they want to learn more about and begin their Interest Fair Project. You child(ren) should have brought home an Entry Form/information on Tuesday. If interested, please complete the form and return to school by Friday, January 27th. Winter Box Tops Contest!
Look for the Winter Box Tops Contest sheet that will be sent home with students today! The classroom that collects the most Box Tops will win a movie and popcorn party. It’s easy to do; just clip Box Tops from participating products and then glue or tape 10 unexpired Box Tops onto the flyer to participate in the contest. Contest deadline is February 15, 2017. Please make sure all flyers have the teacher’s name and grade level filled out so the correct classroom gets credit. Note: Box Tops that are expired or missing the product code will not count. Bonus Box Tops should be sent in separately and not attached to the collection sheets. Have more than 10 Box Tops? Print off this sheet - click here. Box Tops can also be placed in a baggie/envelope labeled with child's teacher and grade level. For a link to participating products click here. Thank You!

Attention parents/guardians of 4th graders.....
Lineville Intermediate School Music Choices In March parents of 4th graders will be asked to choose a 5th grade music class. Course descriptions and registration information will be available on March 8th, and parents and students will learn about band, chorus, and orchestra classes at Lineville. A selection must be made and the registration completed within two weeks. Parents who desire more information at this time are invited to visit the music class websites, which are linked to the Lineville home page: http://linevillehssd.weebly.com Attention 4th Grade Parents and Guardians! Field Trip to Barkhausen on Tuesday, January 31st and Wednesday, February 1st. The fourth grade classes at Bay Harbor will be taking a field trip to Barkhausen. Two classes (VanEnkevort & Kalishek) will go on January 31st, and two classes (VanEgeren and J. Brandt) will go on February 1st. IMPORTANT: Please click here to complete the new on-line Field Trip form and to pay the fee. (hard copies of the field trip form will not be sent home).

Student Directory - Available to purchase!
The Bay Harbor Student Directory is published and is available for you to purchase at a cost of $2.00 each. If you would like to purchase a directory, please click here for the order form. Please complete the order form and send it to the office with your payment of $2.00. All proceeds go to our Student Council. The directories will be sent home with your child. Note: About 65% of students are listed in the directory this year. Label your Child's Outerwear!
With Winter here, please remember to put your child's name on all of their outerwear - snowpants, boots, gloves, hats, etc. Do you know how many pairs of black snowpants are found? If they have a name in them, we can make sure they get to their rightful owner. Note about mittens: Please have your child wear waterproof gloves or mittens. The knitted kind get wet when the kids play in the snow and their hands can get very cold! On Our Way With 4K
Creative Curriculum makes learning fun. Learn more about The Howard & Suamico 4K program which prepares four-year-olds for school success at http://www.hssd.k12.wi.us/4k-program. 4K Registration is available online starting Wednesday, February 1 and walk-in verifications on that day (starting at 8am-4pm) at the Howard - Suamico School District Office at 2706 Lineville Road. Children eligible for 4K must be four years of age on or before September 1, 2017 and you must complete the registration and verification process. Inclement weather may necessitate the closing or delay of schools. If schools are closed this will also include the cancellation of extracurricular activities and the events in the community pool unless otherwise announced. Please listen to local radio or television stations for school closings or delays. You will also be notified by phone and email of any closings or delays via the district's automated message system.
