A Message From Mr. Ebeling -
Good Afternoon Sailor Families,
I am happy to announce that the students this time of year are making about the same growth as the grass outside! It is great to see the level of work the students are completing and the excitement in their eyes as they realize the growth they are making.
To measure growth, we do assessments in addition to other less formal observations. To help build in time to assess all of the students 1-1, we are again going to do an assessment day on Monday, May 18th. When students aren’t being assessed, they will be rotating through eight highly engaging activities and taking part in an all school assembly.
As the weather begins to cooperate, and kids schedules change do to sports and other things, please be sure to keep learning as a priority.

Tony Ebeling, Principal

Field Day - Friday, June 5th
More Volunteers Still Needed!
Calling all Bay Harbor Families - WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are looking for volunteers to help us with Field Day activities for 1-2 hours on June 5th. We are looking for people to assist with lunch, games, and to distribute the end of the day treat between 10:45 AM and 2:30 PM.
If you are not familiar with Field Day, it is a fun filled event to celebrate the end of another school year. This event runs from lunch time until the end of the day. The students eat a picnic lunch and then head over to Idlewild Park for various games and finish the day off with a cool treat. This is a SUPER FUN event for ALL students but it takes many volunteers to make this day a success!
If you are interested (and even if you can’t commit to an entire hour), please fill out the Field Volunteer Form that was sent home with your child in the Take Home Envelopes last week. Please return it to the school office by May 22nd. If you do not receive the form and are interested in volunteering, please contact Rich Glen at [email protected] or you can click here to print off the form and send it in to Bay Harbor.
