National Volunteer Appreciation week is upon us and I would like to say a special
“THANK YOU” to everyone who has volunteered their time at Bay Harbor. Without the help
of volunteers in our school, it would be very difficult to do the things we need to do to be successful. In honor of our volunteers, we will be holding a breakfast on Wednesday,
May 21st from 7:45-8:30. More information will be coming soon regarding this. In the meantime, please be sure to “Save-the-date”.

Principal

The NED Show assembly is coming to Bay Harbor again on April 16th! NED stands for "Never Give Up, Encourage Others, Do Your Best". This is a character-building assembly combined with a great message with yo-yo's, humor and audience participation to teach students to become champions at school and in life. This assembly is seen by nearly 2.5 million kids a year worldwide, including special events at the White House. NED Yo Yo's will be available for sale - watch for the order forms coming home in the Take Home Envelopes next week! These fun, old fashioned, "no-batteries-needed" products are a tangible way for kids to keep NED's message in motion long after the assembly is over! We look forward to the lasting, positive impact it will have at our school.
You can order your child's school supplies through "School Kidz!"
Once again, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of an easy and convenient way to purchase school supplies for next year. "School Kidz" is a program that supplies you with a kit that contains all of the supplies listed on our "school supply lists" that are put together by our teachers for each grade level. These kits are competitively priced and take the hassle out of shopping for these items on your own. Order forms will be going home in early May. The kits will be delivered to school in mid August in time for you to pick them up to get ready for the start of another school year. Many parents who have ordered these in the past ask for them every year. It is a great convenience! -SAVE THE DATE-
