Blizzard Tickets coming home today!
If you ordered Green Bay Blizzard tickets to the game this Saturday, watch for them coming home with students today! Along with the tickets with be other information and directions. Mr. Ebeling will be sending out a follow up email about this game in the next day or so.

Penny Wars – In progress through Friday, May, 11th!
Students can bring in pennies to put in their grade level bucket. All Pennies count as positive points. You can also bring in silver coins or dollar bills and put those is the buckets of other grade levels as those count as negative points. The grade level that has the most positive points will earn an ice cream treat! The money earned from Penny Wars will be used to send all students to SAGA Gymnastics as an end of the school year incentive. Thank you!!

Lots and lots of volunteers are needed to man all of the games that students will enjoy in the afternoon. This is a special day to celebrate the end of another school year. Your child would love to have you be apart of it!

Watch for a permission slip with an attached SAGA waiver form coming home with all students tomorrow! All students will get the opportunity to go to SAGA Gymnastics on one of these two days for our end -of the school year incentive, thanks to our Student Leadership Council. The schedule for each classroom is printed on the back of the permission slip. Students should dress comfortably on the day of their trip. Please make sure to complete these forms for each of your child(ren) and send back to school as soon as possible. Thank you!

Due to weather forecast Friday, the Sweet Safari event scheduled for Friday, May 11 at the NEW Zoo is postponed until June 8.
Sweet Safari for Education has been rescheduled for June 8, 5-8 pm. The NEW Zoo and the Howard-Suamico Education Foundation are excited to host the third annual Sweet Safari for Education – A Wild Artistic Adventure. The Sweet Safari will feature over 150 pieces of student artwork and sweet treats from local vendors for kids and adults of all ages. Face painting, animal encounters, a bounce house, free carousel rides, and an inflatable obstacle course are also planned. Tickets include admission to the event at the NEW Zoo and Adventure Park and are available for $10 in advance at all Northeast Wisconsin Festival Foods locations & Howard or $12 at the door. Randy Peterson CD Order Form
On April 30-May 4 our students worked and performed with musician Randy Peterson. Together the students and Mr. Peterson composed and performed nine songs. These songs were recorded and have been put together onto a CD. PTO Information
The PTO is looking to fill the following positions for next year: Vice President Shall assume all duties and responsibilities of the president in her/his absence. 2. Shall serve on at least one committee. 3. Shall be responsible for recruiting nominees for any open office in the upcoming year. 4. Shall contact new families upon their arrival to welcome them. 5. Become the President the following year Secretary 1. Shall be in charge of taking and keeping complete and concise minutes of the P.T.O. meetings. If the secretary is absent, the president will appoint a substitute for that meeting. 2. Shall read and make available through the school newsletter the previous minutes before each meeting for approval. 3. Shall provide the previous meeting minutes to the Building Webmaster for posting on the school’s web page. PLANNED ABSENCE FORM All absences from school, not related to an illness, injury or family emergency, must be requested in writing at least 48 hours in advance in order for the absence to be excused (family vacation for example). Please complete the Advance Absence Notice for this purpose and return to school. This form will be routed to the student’s teachers for approval signatures. |
