A Message from the Principal,
Green Bay Blizzard & Bay Harbor
Again this year, we will be taking part in a Green Bay Blizzard arena football game. You will be receiving a flyer that will be sent home with students TODAY that tells you more information. ALL STUDENTS who come to the game can participate in a “Fan Tunnel”. Students in grades 2-4 can also choose to take part in singing the National Anthem. There will be a “Dash for Cash” where educators from around the district and area will be running around the field trying to get the most cash they can for their school. I will be the runner from our school. $5 from every ticket sold will go right back to our school! That is amazing! We will be putting that money towards our continued emphasis on robotic programming, recording, and enhancing our learning spaces. More information will come out about this, but please plan to attend the game on April 1st at 7:00 PM.
Click here for a look at the flyer that will be coming home today which also includes an order form for tickets to the game.

Save the Date!
Friday, March 10th
8th annual Father/Daughter Dance
6:00 -8:00
A DJ will be providing music for the dance and a photographer will be on hand to take photos of the girls and their dad or "special person". Refreshments and desserts will also be served for a nominal price.
If dad can't make it, no worries - girls can bring that "special person" in her life, like Grandpa, an Uncle, an older Brother, Step-Dad or Family Friend. Girls can wear a special outfit or dress for the evening.
Please Note: We are still in need of more donations of baked goods for this event - cookies, bars, cupcakes, or a cake. If you can donate baked goods or have any questions, please contact the Bay Harbor office at 662-8800.
Thank you for your help to make this night very special.

Our Ellis Island simulation was awesome! Not only for the immigrants but also for the inspectors (parent/teacher volunteers). This was great for all the third graders to get a real life experience of what it was like to be an immigrant coming to America. The third graders had a choice to be a German, Irish or Italian immigrant. This special event took place on Wednesday, February the 15th in the Bay Harbor Library. Special thank you to all of our teachers and parents that helped us out.
