"Popping for a Purpose" Popcorn Sale!
The Student Council will host a popcorn sale on Friday, May 30th. Money earned will go towards new playground equipment. The theme is "Popping for a Purpose". Students can purchase a bag (or more) of popcorn for 50 cents per bag. They can purchase a bag for themselves, for other members of the family, friends, or neighbors. Note: Teachers will have the choice as to whether or not to allow students to eat a bag in the classroom or if all popcorn purchased will be brought home that day. Students can turn in money for this "purpose" anytime from now through Friday morning, May 30th. Thank you for your support!

Also, contact the school office when an address, phone number and/or contact information changes. It is important to keep student records accurate in case parents need to be contacted in an emergency situation. It also ensures accurate communication between school and home. Running Club Update
We had a great time in Running Club this year. We had 63 students sign up for the program. Forty-six students ran in the 5K Cellcom race on Saturday, May 17. Way to go, Sailors!! A big thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped with Gatorade, Crossing Guard and Running Partners. This year we had several parents who ran with their child, encouraging healthy choices at every age bracket. Keep running throughout the summer months and try to join a couple 5K races around Green Bay to keep your interest in the sport. Like anything, practice will improve your form. Carrie Lafrombois, Jessica Schneider, Paula Tetzlaff and Kathleen Joynt Did you miss out? It's not too late to order!

Thank you! SAVE THE DATE - Fundraiser to help update our Literacy Room -Tuesday, June 3rd at Gallagher's Pizza Over the past two years, Bay Harbor has been focused on building and updating the Literacy Room. This room is utilized by all of the staff to enrich students’ literacy skills – primarily in a guided reading setting. In order to help upgrade the resources in this room, we are holding a fundraiser at all Gallagher’s Pizza locations on Tuesday, June 3rd. Please help support Bay Harbor by grabbing a bite to eat from Gallagher’s that day (lunch or dinner). You can even do carry-out or delivery! All you need to do is present the flyer, relax, and enjoy some good eats! NOTE: The back room at the West Mason Street location has been reserved for Bay Harbor families to come and eat with teachers and their families. Gallagher’s will then donate 20% of the proceeds, from the families that presented the flyers, to Bay Harbor! The flyer will be sent home in the Wednesday Take Home Envelopes on Wednesday, May 28th. Extra flyers will be sent home so you can share them with friends and family! Thank you so much for your continued support! Click here to see the flyer. What you can do to help: - Tell your friends and family about the event – share the flyers when you get them! - Write a blurb in your newsletters and/or websites about the event - Ask your students/families to “save the date” A 20% kickback is pretty huge! Thank you in advanced for all of your help!!! J Let’s get our book room looking fabulous! Golden Ticket Golden Ball Golden Tray
