Bay Harbor will soon be publishing its 8th annual Student Directory! The Student Directory is your source for contact information of friends and classmates of your child and for networking with other families at Bay Harbor. Once the booklets are printed, they will be available for purchase at a cost of $2.00 each, with the proceeds going to Student Council.

Box Tops Contest!
Dear Parents –
We are having our 1st BOX TOPS COLLECTING CONTEST for the year starting today, October 9th. Contest "Collection Sheets" should be coming home with students. Please return the sheets by October 23rd. Box Tops can also be submitted in a baggie or envelope (instead of attaching them to the sheets) - however, please make sure the bags are labeled with the teacher’s name, so their class can be credited for the contest.
The class that brings in the most Box Tops will earn a Popsicle party!

Bay Harbor is currently holding a FOOD DRIVE for the Giving Tree food pantry in our community.
The food drive will run through Friday, October 11th
Bins will be located in the main hallway at school. The Giving Tree has shared they are in need of the following items:
- Mac & cheese
- Canned pasta
- Canned spaghetti sauce
- soup
- peanut butter
- Cereal
- Applesauce
- tuna fish
- Boxed rice and potato sides
Last year Bay Harbor collect 739 pounds of food items! Our 4th grade will be volunteering at the Giving Tree on Oct 31.

"Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be a Leader" If students are caught "Doing the right thing" showing exemplary leadership qualities, they can receive a Sailor Pride Ticket. They are able to put their ticket into a bucket in the office. Mr. Ebeling will pull some tickets from that bucket every week and announce their name. Vision Screening - Thursday, October 24th
The Brown County Health Department will be at Bay Harbor to do Vision Screening for all 1st and 3rd graders and any referrals. If you do not want your child screened, or if your child is in another grade level and you would want to have them screened, please contact the school office at 662-8800. The Golden Apple Awards are meant to improve community awareness around the awesome things happening in education around the greater Green Bay area.
